Selectboard reorganizes, elects Pelissier as chair

NH ALLENSTOWN — Allenstown Board of Selectmen reorganizes with new leadership at March 23 meeting. Kathleen Pelissier was elected Chairperson and Diane Adinolfo as Vice-Chairperson. The board approved approximately $38,000 in capital reserve fund requests for equipment and services, including $28,000 to Nicks Welding, accepted a $958.50 matching grant from the Department of Natural & Cultural Resources, and approved a $13,866.04 purchase order from Allegiance Truck.
The board appointed Matthew LaFlamme as Deputy Tax Collector and Town Clerk, William Otto Rush as Health Officer for a three-year term, approved three veterans tax credits totaling $5,500, and approved an elderly exemption of $40,000 off property assessment.
