NH ALLENSTOWN — Allenstown Budget Committee endorses school and town operating budgets. The committee recommended a $15,024,829 school budget and $5,555,750 town budget, with labor contracts raising teacher pay by $174,263 and paraprofessional pay by $99,535 in the first year. The town budget carries a $10.44 per-$1,000 tax impact versus a default of $9.88.
Four school trust funds totaling $225,000 for health benefits, building maintenance, high school tuition, and special education also advanced with committee backing, funded from surplus without new taxation.
