Selectmen back warrant articles with split on amendment 18

NH ALLENSTOWN — Allenstown Board of Selectmen recommends most warrant articles but splits on amended article 18. The board unanimously endorsed amended warrant articles 23 and 24, the sewer budget, sewer non-capital reserve fund, and town contingency fund at a reconsideration meeting following the deliberative session. Amended article 18 failed to achieve consensus, with three members voting in favor and two opposed.
