Sewer Commission approves major treatment facility upgrade authorization

NH ALLENSTOWN — Allenstown Sewer Commission approves consolidated $7.6 million treatment facility upgrade change order. Commissioner John Childs moved to accept the final change order authorization and reaffirm Superintendent Jeff Backman's authority to approve changes up to $75,000, seconded by Chair Dave Bouffard. The motion finalizes Change Order 1 and Change Order 2, adjusting the total contract price to $7,643,727.94.
Engineer Consultant Mike Trainque and Superintendent Backman provided updates on Clarifier Project construction, Houle Avenue and Chester Turnpike work, and proposed clarifier covers.
