Sewer Commission approves Change Order No. 1 for Clarifier Project

NH ALLENSTOWN — Allenstown Sewer Commission approves Change Order No. 1 for its ongoing Clarifier Project. Superintendent Jeff Backman was also authorized to sign future change orders up to one percent of total project cost without individual board approval. Engineer Consultant Michael Trainque presented the change order and advised that Change Order No. 2 is in progress.

The board agreed to pursue covering the old clarifiers, a move requiring additional legal fees. The Houle Avenue sewer project remains stalled with no decisive movement to date. The next meeting is April 14, 2026.
