Sewer Commission approves $62,483.67 in Clarifier Project modifications

NH ALLENSTOWN — Sewer Commission backs $62,483.67 Clarifier Project spending plan. Chair Dave Bouffard was reelected along with Commissioners John Childs and Jim Rodger, with the consent agenda passing by roll call. Superintendent Jeff Backman and Engineer Consultant Michael Trainque presented construction modifications totaling $62,483.67, including hydro excavation, conduit work, electric handhole and plug valve installations, and chemical feed apparatus.

The department operates under a new medium discharge permit effective April 1, 2026. Backman will meet with Waste Management regarding a new five-year hauler contract.
