NH ALLENSTOWN — Allenstown Selectmen approved a $131,450 contract with Itaglia Foundation Inc for a highway building foundation. The board voted unanimously to authorize the expenditure after the previously selected contractor failed to appear for the job. In additional unanimous votes, the board authorized $5,400 in longevity compensation for previously uncompensated employees and maintained the town parking policy unchanged, removing it from future agendas.
The board reviewed draft 2027 budgets for Highway, Library, and Finance/Personnel with respective department heads.
