Selectboard approves structural materials for highway garage

NH ALLENSTOWN — Allenstown Selectboard approves structural materials and equipment for the new highway garage. The Selectboard unanimously authorized Road Agent Chad Pelissier to purchase 23 hydrant tons of structural fill at $11.25 per ton and 580 tons of three-quarter-inch gravel at $12 per ton delivered from Allenstown Aggregate, along with rental of a 10-ton roller at $1,000 per week for two weeks, funding from the Highway Garage Capital Reserve Fund. The board also unanimously approved invoices totaling $40,840.51 for the Future Town Hall project from the New Municipal Building Capital Reserve Fund.
Facilities Supervisor Peter DeSantis reported the town hall project on schedule for fall occupancy.
