Selectboard accepts Officer Higgins resignation

NH ALLENSTOWN — Allenstown Selectboard accepts police officer resignation in non-public session. Chair Kathleen Pelissier convened an unscheduled non-public meeting after Officer Higgins requested closure of a scheduled public hearing. All five board members voted unanimously to accept the resignation.
Deliberation is scheduled for May 18, 2026, in non-public session, with both Officer Higgins and Chief Tower permitted to observe. Non-public minutes were sealed.
