Economic Development Committee seeks formal development approval role

NH ALLENSTOWN — Allenstown's Economic Development Committee seeks a formal voice in the town's development approvals process. The committee agreed to present recommendations to the Board of Selectmen requesting that developers meet with the EDC before Planning Board review, with hopes of better coordinating between town departments. The committee also confirmed summer events including a June 6 town-wide yard sale, July-September farmers market at an expanded location near Route 28, and June concert series events featuring country music and local musician Olivia Conway.
Committee member Ron Adinolfo announced his resignation effective immediately.
