Cemetery Trustees approve John Hill perpetual fund transfer agreement

NH ALLENSTOWN — Allenstown Cemetery Trustees approve transfer of John Hill perpetual fund to Diocese. Chair Ron Adinolfo and fellow Trustees unanimously approved a Non-Judicial Settlement Agreement for transferring the John Hill Perpetual Fund to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Manchester. The agreement will be presented to the Board of Selectmen for review and approval, and is also being reviewed by the Diocese of Manchester, the Pastor of St.

John the Baptist Church in Allenstown, and the New Hampshire Attorney General's office. The board also discussed the Evans Cemetery Perpetual Fund, located on private land in Allenstown; the Trustees will reach out to the New Hampshire Department of Justice Charitable Trusts Division regarding the fund's disposition.
